Ayodhya Tour Package from Delhi: Ram Lalla Darshan

Dec 12, 2025By Priya Sharma

Ayodhya — the birthplace of Lord Ram, the Sanatan Dharma's most sacred city, aur ab ek naye avatar mein saamne aaya ek divine pilgrimage destination. Ram Mandir ka pran pratishtha January 2024 mein hua aur tab se Ayodhya mein devotees ki sankhya unprecedented levels par pahunch gayi hai. Har din lakhs of devotees Ram Lalla ke darshan ke liye Ayodhya aate hain. Aur Manmauji Trip ke saath, Delhi se Ayodhya ki yeh pavitra yatra bilkul seamless aur spiritually fulfilling ho jaati hai.

Ram Mandir — A Historic Marvel

The Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex is a masterpiece of Nagara-style architecture built in pink Rajasthani sandstone (Bansi Paharpur stone). The main sanctum houses the idol of Ram Lalla — divine, peaceful, and radiating an energy that devotees describe as overwhelmingly moving. The temple complex covers 70 acres and includes multiple shrines, Karsevak Puram, a museum, and a beautiful pathway to the Saryu River. This is not just a temple — it is a civilisational statement of India's Sanatan heritage.

Other Sacred Spots in Ayodhya

  • Kanak Bhavan: Known as 'Sone ki Dwaraka' — a stunning golden temple gifted to Sita by her mother-in-law Kaikeyi. Deeply beautiful.
  • Hanuman Garhi: The mighty fort-like temple of Lord Hanuman — the protector of Ayodhya. 76 steps lead to the main shrine. A must-visit.
  • Nageshwarnath Temple: One of the oldest temples in Ayodhya, associated with Kush (Ram's son).
  • Treta ke Thakur: The site where Lord Ram performed the Ashwamedha Yagna.
  • Guptar Ghat: Where Lord Ram is believed to have taken jal samadhi — a deeply sacred and serene spot on the Saryu River.
  • Saryu River: The holy river of Ayodhya — a dip in the Saryu is considered as auspicious as a Ganga snan.

The Saryu Aarti

Every evening, the Saryu River aarti is performed at Ram ki Pauri Ghat — modelled on the Haridwar Ganga Aarti, it is a magnificent spectacle of devotion, light, and chanting. The reflection of lamps in the Saryu and the sound of conch shells echoing across the river create an atmosphere of deep spiritual peace.

Tips for Ram Mandir Darshan

  • Pre-book darshan passes through the official Ram Mandir website for VIP/special darshan — avoid long queues.
  • Reach early morning (6 AM–8 AM) — the crowds are lighter and the early morning light inside the mandir is magnificent.
  • No photography inside the main sanctum. Mobile phones must be deposited at the entry counter.
  • Dress code: Traditional Indian attire recommended. Full-sleeve clothing. No shorts or sleeveless.
  • During major festivals (Diwali, Ram Navami, Makar Sankranti) — crowds multiply enormously. Advance planning essential.
